INNOVATION first coined the term Information Engine™ to describe its vision of tomorrow’s newsrooms and news companies. We firmly believe that newsrooms must be fully integrated and able to deliver news content in all formats around-the-clock.
This concept was visionary at a time when few believed in the idea of multimedia newsrooms, but has led us to design and establish dozens of re-engineered newsrooms around the world using an Information Engine™ model that includes creation of a multimedia "superdesk" and diversification of content and outlets. Changes in work flow and improved planning lead to reduced costs and greater journalistic and commercial impact.
Our first-hand experience in creating modern and innovative newsrooms enables INNOVATION to offer clients a full range of services that includes designing and organizing a multimedia newsroom, training journalists and managers, introducing new editorial and planning systems, and implanting a new culture of synergy and cooperation.
Newspaper Success Case Studies in Brazil

Two Brazilian newspapers re-launched by INNOVATION become absolute leaders in their communities in record time.
Correio* de Bahia in Brazil has grown 138% in the past year with a circulation of more than 60,000.
A Tribuna in Vitoria is also the runaway leader in its city with almost 90,000 sold each day.
The two dailies now rank amongst Brazil's top ten quality dailies in less than three years.
Both newspapers have gone through a similar re-invention process by INNOVATION which included becoming compact Berliners where 'less is more'; a modern graphic design and radical new editorial concept and structures with powerful front pages.
In both cases they operate as integrated multimedia operations both editorially and commercially.
